We encourage confirmation and or shutzhund sports because it builds confidence in the young Doberman and the handler as well as the family. However we don’t advocate “attack dogs” if you are after a protection only dog, they are out there, but we don’t want a part of that we want you to have a working companion at your side, bonded to you and the family, not a Doberman just trained to bark and bite. Remember your Doberman wants a job, they want to please you. Help them learn what you want them to do, and watch them amaze you!
