My first Doberman that entered my family came in 1980. He was a red/rust male. Since that time I have raised
several Doberman's of both sexs. I love the breed and since my first Doberman I have never owned anything else . Once
a Doberman owner always a Doberman owner . Currently I have 5 Dobermans in my family . 3 females and 2 males
. In 2003 I decided to breed for the first time . I contacted a woman ( now a very good friend of mine ) to use
her stud . She had health tested her stud . She explained all of what she had tested for . vWD and hips, thyroid
and carido . Before I bred my female to her stud I went and had my female tested for vWD thru Vet Gen. This is a DNA
test . It came back clear . Her male was a clear also . That made all the puppies clear .Since then my friend has taught
me alot about breeding and health issues. I am constantly learning more and more about the breed. Knowing all I can helps
me to teach my new puppy owners about their new puppy. From health issues to ear cropping tips. And after my females
first litter I knew that I wanted to raise puppies and to find them good homes for people like me that loved the breed
and wanted a good quality Doberman. Since 2003 I have been raising litters and I just love it . Also I tell my puppy
owners they can call or e-mail me anytime to ask me questions or just to let me know how their puppy is doing. Since
learning about Doberman health issues I only breed to Dobes that have had health testing. As my goal is to produce
a healthy puppy with healthy lines. What is nice about the Euro lines you can tract down some of the health testing
thru a web site at http://www.dobermann-review.com/
